L516 creeps down the main at Colfax, as they prepare to meet their counterpart at the east end of the siding. The former Soo Line depot is now home to the Colfax Railroad Museum.
L516 rolls through Atwood, shortly after getting on the Superior Sub at Owen. The SD60 pair was working hard pulling a 99 car train that included 54 empty racks.
Former Oakway SD60s CN 5445 and 5423 lead a very late L516 through Downing Jct. There are 41 empty racks on the rear that were picked up at the New Richmond Autoport.
A pair of old Oakways lead the nightly L516 back east to Stevens Point. Nice to see the landscape start to green up again, and the 60s still holding down this job.

A loaded rock train from Lannon Stone Products rides south in tow behind a long-hood forward SD60 through the city of Waukesha
With only 20 minutes left before running "dead," the dispatcher had to hold this train about a mile north of Shops Yard so a fresh crew could bring the train the rest of the way in.
